Opening BUP Files Residing on a DVD Disk
Friday, October 10th, 2008The file extension BUP generates backup files of the IFO format embedded on a DVD disc. The files with the extension BUP contain information about the association of tracks, menus, chapters, and subtitles on the DVD disc. These BUP files function in the event that the subsequent IFO file is unreadable probably caused by a scratch on the side of the disc. Because the DVD player cannot process the given data from the VIDEO_TS.IFO, it will crack to catch the necessary data from this file.
